We had to strategize, design and develop a complete marketing campaign that was centered around our senior thesis topics. I chose Alzheimer's Disease as my senior thesis topic during the conclusion of my final year in the Visual Communication Design program at Arizona State University.
This campaign was not limited to any specific platform, as we had the freedom and complete control over how we wanted to represent our topics. I chose to design and develop a mobile app, create billboards and posters, as well as incorporating marketing strategies on social media in order to raise awareness for my topic.
The Fight to Remember mobile app was designed to give it's users the ability to learn, play and help fund research. The app provides articles, interviews, ted talks and insights from doctors and other members of the community around the world in order to teach the audience about the disease. Fight to Remember also features brain games, in which users can play puzzles and other games that increase brain activity. Lastly, the app also offers the opportunity to help fund research and medicine by donating through the app.
Social Media engagement is extremely important in today's day and age thus there was a large focus on the utilization of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to help market the Fight to Remember campaign. News and updates would be posted directing users back to the mobile app.
